Im Namen des Volkes (in the name of the people)
is the name of a short animation clip created as final work of the university project 'Hautnah'.
The aim of the clip is to make prisoners - in a poetic way - think about the risks (medical as well as social)
of tatooing. A tattoo is not just a 'fashion imprint' but in a prison environment also loaded with symbolism. Remaining for life it constantly reminds the carrier of a 'dark chapter' in his life and therefore might interfere
in the resocialisation process.
